A home should feel the way Milan does at dusk.
Lumière Cove began with a quiet observation made on a walk through Milan. In the early evening, the city softens. Brass catches the last of the light, velvet curtains glow behind tall windows, and every shopfront, from the grandest atelier to the smallest corner gallery, seems to have been composed with care.
Milan is the capital of fashion, and anyone who lives here learns to see a room the way a designer sees a collection: through proportion, texture and restraint. A perfect jacket is never loud. It is cut well, made from beautiful cloth, and finished with one considered detail. We believe a home deserves the same thinking.
Why Lumière Cove
Lumière is the French word for light, the thing Milanese interiors do best. A cove is a sheltered place, a corner of calm. Together they describe what we want every room to become: a soft, glowing refuge from the noise outside.
From the runway to the living room
The fashion houses of Milan taught us that luxury is rarely about excess. It is the weight of heavy silk, the cool of polished marble, the warmth of aged brass, the depth of emerald velvet. We borrow those ideas and bring them indoors: sculpted lighting that behaves like jewellery for the ceiling, soft textiles with the drape of a tailored coat, and details that frame a room the way a good collar frames a face.
Our palette
Deep, warm dark like fine leather and espresso. Soft cream like a draped evening gown. Touches of brass and emerald complete the story. Together they make rooms that feel calm in the morning and quietly glamorous at night.
